    How it works

    Three steps, all on your own device.

    1. Step 1: Add WebP files

      Drop, paste or pick up to 10 WebP images of 20 MB each. They are read on your device.

    2. Step 2: JPG is already selected

      The output is set to JPG. You can still choose another format or change the quality.

    3. Step 3: Download the JPG files

      Each WebP file keeps its name with the .jpg extension, one by one or as a ZIP.

    Questions and answers

    What happens to transparent parts of a WebP?
    JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with the background colour you choose (white by default). Convert to PNG instead if you need to keep the transparency.

    Does converting WebP to JPG improve quality?
    No. Conversion cannot bring back detail the WebP file no longer has. It only changes the file format; at quality 90 or more the JPG looks the same as the WebP.

    Can I convert an animated WebP?
    The converter saves still images, so only one frame is kept. It is meant for photos and graphics, not animations.
